Where I've Been (And What's Next)

In 2025 I started the concept of a team and anticipated a new dynamic to work within. While things didn't go as planned it was a learning opportunity. Not much went as planned but my fortitude and optimism was foundational. It was also a year of major personal losses (one being my baby sister) and growth (acquiring an A.I. certification and laying groundwork for a new endeavor). I write these blogs/vlogs to share my story as a photographer and creative, but haven't really shared all or as much as I could. I almost cringe at the thought of the number of times I've lost an opportunity for new clientele with an account stuck at 1 post. As I write this (and tight rope between full transparency and preferred privacy) there's a part of me that takes satisfaction in the odd but unlikely timing. The reason is that I took time to really plan and think about this endeavor and how I handle it moving forward. Last month I wrote about "looking back to move forward". The focus was that I came to the conclusion that everything boils down to how well I serve others, but the inner thought was "after I take time to serve and build myself".  One precedes the other (in cases where you walk or operate alone).  What’s next is continued growth past the current ceiling, not because “I feel it” or “I want to see profit”.  It's simply having S.M.A.R.T. goals and a vision with a plan.  Now all that is left is to execute, proficiently and in order.  It’s time to serve others in new capacities.
