Back Like We Never Left
I'm a Chiefs fan, always have been and always will be. After growing up watching us miss the playoffs frequently, attending games watching the dedicated fandom year after year - getting Mahomes was more than a celebration for true fans.
Some of my early digital photos and videos were taken at a Chiefs game on a $350 Canon digital camera with a 32x optical zoom...brand new bag, memory card, accessories the whole package. This was in the literal transition of manual film to digital photography. Then my camera was stolen on campus during my 2nd semester of college. I never got it back, but maintained my motivation.
Fast forward, I had the pleasure of working with long time client Lil' Ava as she dropped bars for Tech 9 on their KC anthem titled "KC Huh, KC What". Being in the environment and feeling the creative energy was everything! Just like being a fan at Arrowhead. Thank you LaShawn and Ava for trusting me with that moment!! I'm still bumping the anthem and still get hype!
Like my favorite hometown team, I feel like I'm back like I never left. We are currently 4-0 and even when we get counted out by naysayers, its the underdog mentality that never settles keeping myself and thousands of fans inspired. I'm planning new ventures so haven't invested much time in new clientele, however my love for the art remains. Excellence is excellence in the ups and down. We're back.
