Alignment In Motion

Updated: Jan 22

Alignment in motion means two things. It's what I believe to be the intersection of success. It’s one thing to be in alignment with your purpose and direction, the things that interest you and what you wanna do in life (whether it's a career, hobby, passion or just something in between). This is important because many people are not sure about what it is that they want to do. They're not  clear on their purpose.

On the other hand you have motion. So many people have an idea of what they want to do but oftentimes they have different things of interest but never start.  The importance of motion is being able to identify where you're at and where you want to be, then making progress towards that.

In this current operation of photo and video I’ve been fortunate enough to use the power of imagery to market the services of a family collaborative called “Black and Brothers” in which I handle marketing.  It’s a one stop shop general contracting service. I've even learned a few things by putting on gloves and boots and getting dirty.

Sometimes you think about doing something new.  You learn more about yourself, and may end up liking it and it’s a win. The key thing though, is that even if it fails while in motion, you can at least say that you tried it.  From there you know what works and doesn’t for the next endeavor.

When there’s an intersection of alignment and motion, that's when success is inevitable and that's when you reach a peak.  A peak of self discovery, self-fulfillment, self alignment and self provision. I came to this conclusion after watching so many TikTok videos, reading different books about self improvement and just different things.

I've had a lot of failures, but I've had more successes than failures so I'm proud of myself for that. I feel really good about 2024. This is the year of alignment for me and I'm excited about the success in front of me and ahead of me.
